Useful trees of East Africa, is the second book of the author on indigenous trees, after Growth and Cultivation of 85 Indigenous Trees of Uganda (2010). The new book describe 109 mostly indigenous species to Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Special attention is made to services of the trees to the environment, and to humans. It includes a complete botanical description, wood properties, wood products, and propagation and management of the trees. For identification purposes a rough pictorial key, local and botanical names are provided, as more than 500 pictures of the trees by the author.
